Jazz in Club!

For those of you who enjoy Jazz and like hitting clubs, here's an absolutely awesome piece by Parov Stelar! It's one for keeps, seriously. It's a perfect mix, and you can satisfy your cravings for both jazz and club music at the same time.

I haven't checked out all of his stuff yet, but what I've heard so far is pretty great! Watch the video below to treat your ears :)

Don't Jump

Don't jump, because I'm not about to surprise you. This is a great song by a pretty good band by the name of Tokio Hotel. A friend suggested it a few years ago, and it has been a favorite ever since. It's fast paced beat, loud tones and deep lyrics make up for an excellent treat to the ears.

Many may not relate to the song, but those who do will never forget it. Check it out... make the effort and youtube it, because this one definitely deserves your time.

California Dreamin'

If you haven't already heard this fabulous song, it's time you curse yourself for missing out on it for so long. Some songs never fade away and never lose out to other tunes and this song definitely meets that criteria.

Give Me One Reason

14 - 24 hour work-days, no sleep and survival on 15 minute lunch breaks. That's been my life for the past few days. And amidst all that mess, the song that kept me going with its nerve-calming tune was:

Give Me One Reason - By Tracy Chapman

Check it out, maybe it'll be the song for you as well!

Living on a Prayer

one of my favorite Bon Jovi songs... from their good old days, when they were still away from the more commercial romantic stuff. not that this one lacks a romantic note to be honest...heh. something i love to sing along with. something amazing to out loud with.

SLASH- BY THE SWORD

the lyrics just seem to be making sense today.. and are oddly cathartic. there's a melancholic strain to this track which just goes with the mood. it doesn't aggravate it, just unobtrusively (SOMEHOW!) soothes distraught nerves. Andrew Stockdale's voice simply adds to the whole effect. something to slowly lift you...and actually help you leave it all behind... :)

Buried Under Work Song

Yes, I've been slacking on posting on this page. If you haven't already guessed by the title, I'm going to use this opportunity to blame it on work. The papers and emails all around me every single day are getting to me. And the only peace of mind I get these days is when I am driving back from work with the music cranked up.

Every time this song comes up, I feel the turmoil of my life fade away and a certain groove just taking over. So here is a tune for all my fellow beings who tend to describe themselves are Corporate Slaves. Yes, we are now a raging population and shall take over the world with our rebellious nature.
